A movie that portrays social issues?
I have an assignment for english to pick a movie that addresses a social issue such as:
Gender
Immigration
Religion
Sexual Orientation
Child Abuse
Racism
etc.
It doesn’t have to directly deal with it like a documentary, it should show it in either a positive or negative way… most are going to be negative.
I really want to watch a newer movie.
I saw on a similar question someone said Pan’s Labyrinth but I don’t see how that works if anyone can tell me I would be greatful because I love that movie.
I was also thinking Little Miss Sunshine, it has a lot of Gay references.
“Under the Same Moon [La Misma Luna]” and “A Day Without a Mexican” both address immigration.
